icXL is a program for viewing and using files saved in the new Excel 2007 default format, xlsx, in the legacy Excel 97-2003 format, xls or in the AppleWorks/ClarisWorks spreadsheet format cwk. icXL displays the entire contents of the original Excel spreadsheet including multiple worksheets. It is a "text only" readable solution, as it shows the value of the cells with the proper formatting but does not allow changing the content of the cells and gives only the results of the formulas but not the formulas themselves. icXL allows scaling, word search and navigation with jumpmarks. It opens the following formats: Microsoft Excel 95, Microsoft Excel 97 to 2003, Microsoft Excel 2007, AppleWorks/ClarisWorks 5, AppleWorks 6, Text (csv or tsv). It converts to: AppleWorks 5, AppleWorks 6, Microsoft Excel XML format, Text (csv or tsv) and RTF.
It works on Mac OS X 10.2 to 10.5.
