PixelShips Retro is a space shooter designed to look and feel like an old 1980`s arcade game, but with many features older 80`s games didn`t have. There are 160 different PixelShips you can collect as you pilot them through 50 randomly generated maps filled with enemy drones, force fields, volcanos, turrets, and other hazards. The real-time game engine used is just one of the many features that sets PixelShips Retro apart from other retro-styled games. Other features include 13 original music tracks, full joystick and gamepad support, 5 different skill levels, 16 different weapons to do battle with, 16 kinds of powerups to make life easier and randomly generated enemy drones, which come in 4 varieties of 5 sizes with 12 different weapons. Perhaps the biggest difference of all though is that PixelShips Retro is not a remake or a port. It is a fully unique game styled to provide a nostalgic, balanced and satisfying gaming experience for all kinds of players!
