SSScanner is a full-text search utility which scans files looking for a given word or phrase. It is able to find paragraphs in which your search phrase is altered, modified or even misspelled! All findings are grouped together into a single report allowing you to quickly find out the answer to your question. SSScanner supports searches in 39 languages and processes files in multiple formats including texts, e-mail messages and folders, ZIP, TAR, and other archives including nested ones, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, PDF, HLP, Rich Text and HTML files as well as binary or executable ones.
