The following rules apply to you if you like to publish products, company information or jobs on itLocation.com

1. Check your listing after editing:

Check your content after editing whether anything is correct. Each screen features a direct link to the according public entry. 


2. Only your own data:

You may only maintain and enter the data of your own company or your own products. 


3. Descriptive style for texts:

Use a descriptive style for all texts which you are entering. Do not use superlatives like "best" to catch attention. Your texts must match your listings and must be accurate. You may not enter any HTML.


4. Matching categorization:

Categorize your listings appropriate and accurate. Do not use a categorization that shows your listing in as much categories as possible - use one that shows your listing in the right ones...


5. Images

Use appropriate and matching images for your listings. Images must be also of a "descriptive" style. Do not use  lurid images to catch attention. 


6. Activation / Reactivation:

You may reactivate / "refresh" listings. That is appropriate if you have done significant changes on your listing such as if you have released a new version of your product or similar. Using such an activation will reset the date of your listing to the current date. Do use this feature only if you have done significant changes - not to promote your listing!


7. Generally:

Absolutely no sexual, illegal (especially copyright violations), lurid or similar contents are allowed.

We are checking the contents of all listings on a regular basis.


Deactivation of listings (Free reactivation):

If a listing is not meeting the requirements / rules above, we will deactivate it immediately. In such a case, the responsible contact person will receive an email and may reactivate the listing after checking the content. Such a reactivation is available free of charge.


Deactivation of listings (Costs apply to reactivate the listing):

In case of abusive use (for example using activations repeatedly to promote a listing) we will deactivate the according listing. In such a case, the responsible contact person will receive an email and may reactivate the listing after checking the content. Such a reactivation is not free.


Heavy violations

In case of heavy violations or repeated misuse of our system we reserve the right to deactivate or delete the according member accounts and listings.
